Consecration

The words of Jesus in Luke 9:23-24, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.”  We are committed to be students of Jesus Christ.  Our lives are dedicated simply to follow Jesus—to be who He wants us to be, and to go where He wants us to go. A.W. Tozer stated, “It is easy to learn the doctrine of personal revival and victorious living; it is quite another thing to take our cross and plod the bitter hill of self-renunciation.

Intercession

Prayer is the fundamental key for Twentyfourseven.  E. M. Bounds stated,

Prayer is far reaching in it influence and its gracious effects.  It is an intense and profound business that deals with God and His plans and purposes, and it takes wholehearted men to do it.  No halfhearted, half-brained, half-spirited effort will do for this serious, all-important, heavenly business.  The whole heart, the whole brain, and the whole spirit must be engaged in the matter of praying, which is to affect so mightily the characters and destinies of men.

Students will experience the depth of intercession and intimacy with the God.  We are a generation that will cry aloud for revival, for justice, and for God to manifest himself in this day.

Passion

Jim Elliot prayed,

God, I pray, light the idle sticks in my life, and may I burn them for Thee.  Consume my life, my God, for it is Thine.  I seek not a long life, but a full one like yours.

Through our consecration and intercession we believe that a passion for the fullness of God will be ignited within our spirits.  We will have passion in our worship, our service, and our ministries.

 Mission

Joan of Arc said before she was burned at the stake,

Every man gives his life for what he believes and every woman gives her life for what she believes.  Sometimes people believe little or nothing and give their lives for that little or nothing.  One life is all we have to live and it’s gone.  But to live without belief is more terrible than dying—even than dying young.

Whether a person is called to full time ministry or the market place, we will fulfill our mission.  Each and every person has been ordained by God to make his or her mark on history.  We will answer our call.
